Tuesday, March 22nd, 20112011 New London Irish and Mystic Irish Parades
Tuesday, March 15th, 2011Come out and cheer on NLC Rugby as they take part in the New London Irish and Mystic Irish Parades.
The 4th Annual NL Irish Parade is on Thursday March 17th at 3PM and the parade route is from the Bank St. Connector continues up State Street to end at Hanfin’s Irish Pub. Players and others marching in the parade are asked to meet on Bank St. at 2PM, prior to the start.
The 21st Mystic Irish Parade is on Sunday March 20th at 1PM and the parade route is here. Players and others marching in the parade are asked to meet in the the South parking lot for Mystic Seaport (farthest from Olde Mystick Village) on Greenmanville Rd. at 11AM. There will probably only be a few parking spots at this parking lot so everyone should park at the North lot of Mystic Seaport (closest to Olde Mystick Village) and walk down to the other lot.

Monday, March 14th, 2011Tuesday 3/15/11 practice will start at 5PM at Waterford Beach Park in Waterford, CT.

Thursday, March 10th, 2011There will be Practice on Thursday 3/10/11 from 5:30PM – 7:30Pm at the Old Lyme High School gym. Be there early and ready to go at 5:30. Bring appropriate shoes for the gym and any extra rugby balls you may have.
Tuesday 3/8/11 Practice
Tuesday, March 8th, 2011We will be having training on Tuesday 3/8/11 at the Old Lyme High School gym from 530 to 730. Bring water, sneakers, and anything else needed.
Our first match is April 9th, down in Washington DC, playing in a round robin tournament. Keep the fitness up as it will pay off down the long run.

The New London Penguin Plunge raises funds for Special Olympics Connecticut’s year-round programs of sports training and athletic competition for people with intellectual disabilities.
Please support New London County Rugby as we prepare to dive into the icy cold waters of the Long Island Sound at Ocean Beach Park, New London at 12pm on February 20, 2011 by making a contribution to Special Olympics Connecticut.

Friday, November 19th, 2010Come join us on Saturday, November 27 from 8:00pm – 11:00pm at Hanafin’s Irish Pub in New London, CT for the First Annual Rugger Auction. This first time event will include an live auction to purchase a Rugby player to serve you hand and foot at your private table for the night while you jam out to live music and drink the finest pints in all the land. All are welcome. All money raised goes to the New London County Rugby Club and will help us with the 2011 season expenses.
