Thanks to all that donated to purchase gifts for families in need this past holiday season. A special thanks to Donkey and the other Old Boys who used the donations to purchased and transport these gifts to Westbrook Youth and Family Services.

The New London Penguin Plunge raises funds for Special Olympics Connecticut’s year-round programs of sports training and athletic competition for people with intellectual disabilities.

Please support New London County Rugby as we prepare to dive into the icy cold waters of the Long Island Sound at Ocean Beach Park, New London at 12 PM on February 12, 2012 by making a contribution to Special Olympics Connecticut.

(HARTFORD, CT) – The Connecticut Rugby Football Foundation in association with the Town of Berlin are pleased to announce exhibition rugby matches August 18, 2011 at Scalise Field in Sage Park.

2011 Fall Season Practice

15’s practice for the 2011 fall season starts on Tuesday August 9th from 6-8PM at Southwest Elementary School in Waterford, 51 Daniel’s Rd. We need everyone playing this fall to be there.

2nd Annual New London County Rugby Golf Tournament – 7/30/11

Come out for the 2nd Annual New London County Rugby Golf Tournament at Birch Plain Golf Course in Groton, CT on Saturday July 30th with a 9:00 AM tee off.

Shotgun start scramble (best ball), Steak lunch to follow.
$50 per person/$200 per team. Sponsor a hole for $20(gets you a sign on a tee-box).

Tuesday 3/8/11 Practice

We will be having training on Tuesday 3/8/11 at the Old Lyme High School gym from 530 to 730. Bring water, sneakers, and anything else needed.

Our first match is April 9th, down in Washington DC, playing in a round robin tournament. Keep the fitness up as it will pay off down the long run.
